Diagnosis
Leaf simple, symmetrical, lamina oblong. Leaf margin serrate, with simple spinose teeth, which are fine, apical side concave, basal side straight, sinuses rounded. Leaf apex rounded. Leaf base cuneate. Venation pinnate; primary vein thick, straight or slightly curved. Secondary veins festooned brochidodromous. Intersecondary veins fusing with secondary veins. Tertiary veins forming a randomly reticulate pattern, tertiary vein angle inconsistent. Quaternary veins forming areoles, areoles imperfect, irregularly polygonal, veinlets free, three times branched. Marginal ultimate veins looped.
